Maybe you did not expect it, but the MCLaren MP4-12C
received lots of upgrades from the tuners all over the world. This
attention is not because the 12C lacks power or looks from factory, but
because there are some people out there who think even the best think
can be even better.
DMC is known for taking the best supercars
to a whole new lever, and it did the same with the MP4-12C by updating
the 3.8-liter, V-8 engine to numbers beyond its stock 592 horsepower
(2012 model year specification). DMC started with an ECU performance
package and a new titanium exhaust system that increases the final
output to 660 horsepower.
Along with the extra power, DMC also equipped the new 12C Velocita SE with an aggressive body kit that fits perfectly with the new black paint.
On
the inside, the tuner offers its clients the ability to express their
individuality, so they can choose from a very wide list of carbon, wood,
leather or Alcantara.
McLaren 12C Velocita SE by DMC in Detail
The exterior kit prepared for the new Velocita SE includes a carbon-fiber grill and a new front lip splitter that transforms the look of the MP4-12C and improves downforce on the front axle.
Updates continue on the side, where the tuner installed new flaps for improved road stability.
On the rear, the kit adds a carbon-fiber diffuser and a new exhaust system made from titanium. The new exhaust system is lighter than the standard version and gives the exhaust a sweet note.
One of the most important additions is the new rear wing, which makes the MP4-12C look more aggressive and helps keep the rear axle pinned to the tarmac.
The model rides on a new set of PUR alloy wheels, sized 19 inches up front and 20 inches on the rear. they come coated in an Anthracite finish.
