Hyosung GW 250

Hyosung has already made its presence felt in the times of Kinetic
and the first Hyosung to see the Indian shores was the Hyosung Aquila,
though in limited numbers Aquila did made a huge fan following. Now,
Garware motors is all set to bring Aquila to India again, Hyosung is
going to launch the GW250 in India again.
The GV250 will be launched in July and will be powered by a 249cc,
air and oil-cooled, fuel injected engine, which produces 25 BHP of
power at 10000 RPM and 22 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. The Hyosung GV250
uses a 5-speed gearbox along with telescopic suspension at the front and
twin shocks at the rear. At the front, 110/90/16 tyre is present, while
at the back there is a 150/80/15 section tyre. A 16-litre fuel tank is
present on the GV250, which weighs 170 kgs. The brakes are disc at the
front and drum at the rear.
The bike would initially be here via CBU route but the company
plans to assemble the bike here via the CKD route later on. Cruiser
market in India below the 500cc segment is dominated by the Royal
Enfields and Aquila would be the first one to challenge the dominance of
RE. The bike will be launched in the third quarter of 2012. We hope the
Aquila would be able to repeat the success it was previously able to
achieve.
EXPECTED LAUNCH: OCT 2013
EXPECTED PRICE: 1.5-2 LAKHS
